As seen in the February edition of the\u00a0Chamber Voice<\/em>, the 2017 Annual Report offers a summary of each Rogers-Lowell Area Chamber of Commerce division\u2019s accomplishments in 2017. \n<\/strong>Dropped: 206, valued at $51,374.72
\n<\/strong>Net: 46, valued at $9,101.30<\/p>\n

Events Overview: (<\/strong>December 31, 2017)<\/strong><\/p>\n

Objective:<\/strong>\u00a0 Provide networking events and educational programs to help members grow their business. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Coffee Connection<\/em><\/strong> in December was hosted by Walmart Neighborhood Market on Walnut<\/em>. The event had 32 participants.<\/p>\n

Business After Hours<\/em><\/strong> was hosted by Cox Business <\/em>and held at Midici The Neopolitan Pizza Company<\/em> with over 50 people in attendance.<\/p>\n

A new event, the Door Prize Luncheon<\/em><\/strong>,<\/em> was held on December 8 and brought in over 200 door prizes to be distributed at 2018 events.<\/p>\n

Event Communications: <\/strong>(Year-to-Date Through December 31, 2017)<\/strong><\/p>\n

There are 66 members of the Chamber\u2019s Ambassadors group on the group\u2019s Facebook page.<\/p>\n

Facebook \u201cEvents Page\u201d results:
\nFall Golf Tournament reached 597, was viewed by 149 and nine (9) responded.
\nRLACC Sporting Clays Classic reached 2,200, was viewed by 160 and 13 responded.
\nNWA Fall Job Fair reached 10,000, was viewed by 993 and 210 responded.<\/p>\n

Objective:<\/strong> \u00a0<\/strong>Enhance member experience by providing exceptional customer service and member support.<\/strong><\/p>\n

A total of 252 <\/strong>new members joined from January 1 \u2013 December 31, 2017.
\nA total of 80 percent <\/strong>of these is small businesses.<\/p>\n

A total of 36<\/strong> percent<\/strong> of these small businesses is minority-owned\u00a0and 89 percent <\/strong>of these new businesses is women-owned.<\/p>\n

A total of 238 <\/strong>new members was surveyed for the main reason their organization joined the Chamber. A total of 98 percent<\/strong> answered the survey.<\/p>\n

The top three reasons for joining were Community Involvement\/Increasing Visibility<\/strong>, Marketing\/Advertising\/Publicity Opportunities<\/strong> and Networking\/New Business Contacts<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

A total of 48 percent <\/strong>of the new members attended an event.\u00a0A total of 80 percent<\/strong> of the new members who joined for networking opportunities attended an event. The Member Relations Manager identified 11 new members interested in networking opportunities but not attending events, encouraged them to attend and verified that they were receiving the Calendar at a Glance<\/em> eNews.<\/p>\n

A total of 45 percent<\/strong> of new members logged into the Members Only section. The Member Relations Manager identified 138 <\/strong>new members not using the Members Only section and sent communications encouraging them to sign in and verify their profile information.<\/p>\n

A total of 51 percent<\/strong> of the businesses who joined January 1 \u2013 December 31, 2017 is in Rogers and Lowell<\/strong>. \u00a0A total of 72 percent<\/strong> of these new member businesses is in Benton County<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
