Neighbor’s Mill Bakery & Café believes that honest ingredients is the best policy.
The restaurant, which expanded to Rogers in 2017, recently announced that they are now open on Sunday from 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
The bakery has also amended their hours for the Winter season. They are open from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Sunday and Monday, 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday – Thursday, and 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
“The decision to adjust hours and begin opening on Sunday came from our evaluation of the hours that customers came in the most as well as the overwhelming customer feedback about wanting a great place to have Sunday lunch with family and friends,” Owner Robyn Brooks said. “We found that being open the hours we now have in place will allow us to better serve our customer base.”
Neighbor’s Mill was founded by Mike and Karin Nabors and opened its first store in Harrison, AR. in 2000. More recently, they decided to expand by having franchises. The first franchise opened in 2016 in Springfield, MO and the second in Rogers, AR. While customers come in to enjoy the made-from-scratch American Hearth breads, fresh salads made from wholesome ingredients, warm and hearty bowls of soup, or espressos and pumpkin cream cheese muffins, it’s the friendly customer service and sense of community that really makes the difference.
“Rogers is our home and we want to serve our community with this restaurant,” Brooks said. “Our location is in an area of massive growth in Rogers and that was very important to the selection of our location as well – we want to support the growth of the Rogers community and its residents.”
The Rogers Neighbor’s Mill uses local coffee roasters and bakes bread for many wholesale accounts throughout Northwest Arkansas, including grocery stores and restaurants.
“The community has been very welcoming to us based on how many repeat customers return with family, friends, and co-workers,” she said. “In return, we have given back by supporting some wonderful local nonprofit groups like the Cross Church Compassion Center, Micah’s House NWA, local high schools and assisting others with fundraisers when we can.” They seek out our business to support them, and we believe that is a testament to what our brand represents here in the community.”
Neighbor’s Mill offers more than 28 varieties of hand-crafted bread and uses a custom-built gristmill from Vermont to grind their wheat berries, shipped in from Montana, into wholesome grains that go directly into the breads. Their products contain no preservatives or artificial flavorings.
